The Platinum 3776 Fuji Shunkei fountain pen series features a lineup of pens that have been inspired by the seasonal scenery of Mount Fuji. The goal is the express the beauty of the scenery though fountain pens.
The Kumpoo or balmy breeze is just one of the of the Fuji Shunkei seasonal view series. The Kumpoo fountain pen expresses the refreshing breeze that blows through the fresh greenery up into the sky.
The Platinum 3776 Kumpoo fountain pen features a translucent body with rhodium trim. Mount Fuji is expressed within the cap design seen through the transparent resin. Each pen has been engraved and individually numbered with only 2500 pieces made.
The body has a flowing pattern engraved, achieved using a process applied for the first time in the 3776 Century series.
The Platinum 3776 Fuji Shunkei fountain pen comes in an exclusive gift box with a Kumppoo blotter card and a chrome plated converter.

Thank you Pen Chalet! This pen is gorgeous in photos and breathtaking in person. One of the inks that's a perfect match is Diamine Marine. So - get a bottle of that and get your Kumpoo while you still can. I love turning it so it catches the light. The 3776 series are pens that always write when you pick them up. My Soft Medium nib is just what I love. Extremely highly recommended. Pen Chalet as well.

The 3776 Kumpoo looks beautiful in photos and even more gorgeous in real life. It truly lives up to all the hype. The cap band is molded and is another standout feature from the standard model. I got mine with the SM nib. The nib offers a nice bit of softness so you get some bounce in your writing. It's one of my favorite pens.

The Kumpoo is a standard Platinum 3776 pen. Therefore, perfect in every way. The soft-medium nib tracks ink in just the right amount to suit my needs. Where the Kumpoo differs from other Platinum special editions is in the texture of the barrel. Wavy grooves extend from the barrel threads toward the heel, terminating subtly as if a wind were softly fading away. That’s what gives the pen its unique character and it’s name—“balmy breeze” in English. Another set of grooves extend from the cap ring toward the hat. So when the cap is posted the effect doubles. Even if this kind of palaver doesn’t mean anything, the pen stands out as an excellent choice for daily use under all circumstances.
