The Pineider Limited Edition Queen Mary fountain pen's somewhat vintage taste is considered contemporary to the golden age of the fountain pen, when traveling and writing were synonymous with time. Pineider's Queen Mary pen is layered resin in red, white, and blue commemorates the Queen Mary's 30 years of service navigating trans-Atlantic routes.
The series of "porthole" ink windows in the barrel that allow you to check your ink level are the perfect finishing touch to this unique, vintage style design. Each Pineider Limited Edition Queen Mary fountain pen is fitted with a 14k gold fountain pen nib.
Pineider's 14kt gold nib is designed to be ultraflexible. The intention when creating the ultraflexible 14kt gold nib was to offer a flexible nib for writing rather than a calligraphy nib. Additionally, Pineider wanted the ultraflexible nib's writing experience to be accessible even to beginners.
The Pineider Limited Edition Queen Mary fountain pen also features the Pineider Twist Magnetic lock, a Pineider invention. The new pen closure system combines the pleasure of a screw cap with the convenience and security of a magnetic cap closure. Pineider's unique closing system's polarisation of magnets makes for a soft opening and an even more satisfying closure.
