The pen's transparent material is slightly satined for a stunning glimpse into the inside of the ink reservoir. Filled with Pelikan's 2021 Golden Beryl Ink of the Year, the Pelikan Special Edition Classic 200 Golden Beryl fountain pen shows a fascinating flow of golden shimmering elements as the pen moves across the page. The pen material itself adds to the effect as it glows in fine golden lights; in perfect harmony with the ink's shimmering impression.

This was my first Pelikan fountain pen and I love it. The fine nib is a buttery smooth writer. The Cafe Creme is really attractive and a good neutral color. The piston filler mechanism operates smoothly and is also easy to clean. It quickly became my favorite fountain pen.

This pen is excellent. This is the first Pelikan I own, and I'm absolutely in love with it. The weight of the pen goes perfect for fast or slow writing, and the ink flow is superb.

The M200 has pleasantly surprised me. The nib is very smooth, on par with the smoothest nibs I have sofar (mostly Pilot pens). The piston mechanism moves smoothly. This is a fairly small sized pen that needs to be posted to be used comfortably (at least for me).
The color scheme is gorgeous but also quite fragile, even the smallest smudge will be highly visible!

Beautiful pen! This special edition Pelikan is superb in looks and functionality. I have mine inked with Diamine Chocolate Brown and use it daily. Pen Chalet prices and customer service can't be beat.

This pen is visually stunning! The colors are so well matched.The pen is a great writer, I have a F nib on mine. The overall quality is exceptional.
