The Pelikan M800 Raden Royal Gold fountain pen is a limited edition Souveran with only 388 pens made. Each pen has been handcrafted utilizing the traditional Japanese Raden technique to inlay shells, ivory and other materials into the pen using black Urishi lacquer.

Gold stripes on the cap and barrel are created using 14k gold foil backing and then further enhanced with white mother of pearl. Each pen has been signed by the artist and numbered.

Pelikan M800 Raden Royal Gold Video Script

This is the Pelikan M800 Raden Royal Gold Fountain Pen. It comes in a large, gold cardboard box, where the lid slips off. Inside is information about the pen as well as a certificate of authenticity for the pen. This is a limited edition pen, there is only 388 pens made, so each one is individually numbered.

The pen comes in a bamboo box with Japanese characters on the top of the box. The lid lifts off and has a soft velvet interior. We have the Pelikan M800 Royal Gold Fountain Pen. This is a Raden pen and you can see the designs in the stripes made with the shells that shimmer in different colors. They have a little glisten to them.

On the top of the cap is the Pelikan logo in gold with a Pelikan bill-shape clip that's found on all the Souveran fountain pens. On the backside of the cap is the number of the pen. On the bottom of the cap is two rings, a small and a larger ring. On the larger ring is engraved, "Pelikan Souveran Germany." At the bottom of the barrel of the pen is the artist's signature.

A knob at the end of the barrel of the pen since it is a piston style fountain pen. It has an ink-viewing window near the section of the pen. The knob on the end will actuate the piston inside. The pen has a black resin section with an 18-karat gold nib. The cap can be posted on the pen.
