This is the black and gold version of the pen. It has a beautiful glossy black resin on both the cap and the barrel, and gold accents throughout the pen. On top of the cap, it has a beautiful gold medallion with the duofold logo and a spade shape. And then at the top of the cap, a thin gold colored band that transitions into the traditional Parker arrow design clip. And at the bottom of the cap, two gold bands or rings. And then at the very bottom of the barrel, a small ring with just a plain end at the barrel of the pen. The cap is threaded, it unscrews. It's a decent size pen.
You can post the cap if you would like to. Makes a pretty good sized pen with the cap posted. And you can see between the section and the rest of the barrel there's a small gold colored ring. And then you can see the feed and the nib on the pen. It has a two-tone 18 carat gold nib. You can see the Duofold and Parker's engraved on the nib with that same spade shape design. And then the section that screws, this is a cartridge converter style pen.
So included with the Parker Duofold, is a ink converter for bottled inks. It also comes with a couple extra ink cartridges if you wanna use cartridge inks. So to get you started there's a few included. Those are found on the underside of the false bottom of the box. There's a box of Parker quink inks. And then there's also the Parker warranty and information about the pen. Parker duofold is a great looking pen. I really like the-two tone nib. A great looking pen. This review is for the lapis blue Duofold Centennial. This pen is a thing of beauty. Well-balanced, and very comfortable to hold. I could write for hours -- okay, that's an exaggeration. I write with it for extended periods of time, and still find it enjoyable. I think that's the highest praise I could give it.
