This pen has chrome accents throughout. On the bottom of the barrel we have a small chrome ring. On the barrel we have engraved Monteverde Napa. Then in the middle section of the barrel we have two rings a clear transparent ring that allows you to see inside the barrel and see the ink. Then we have a nice chrome decorative ring in the base of the cap with raised etchings that run all the way around the band. The clip on this pen has the Monteverde logo on the top. The bottom of the clip has a small roller to make it easier to insert into your pocket. You can see the marbling texture in the resin of the cap and the barrel.
The cap on this pen unscrews and you can post that if you would like to. It is a larger pen so you don't necessarily have to post it to use the pen.
This is a cartridge/converter style pen. To replace the ink on this pen we simply unscrew the nib section from the barrel and it comes included with a converter. There are also additional cartridges included with this pen underneath the false bottom of the box. There is also the informational instructions as well as the warranty instructions for the pen.

This is the Monteverde Napa fountain pen. It comes in traditional faux green leather box with the Monteverde logo embossed in silver on top. The box has a hinge top to it with a nice white satin interior. This is the blue version of the Monteverde Napa fountain pen which has blue and red and black colors swirling throughout the resin. Great 1.1mm stub nib. Writes so well. Pen is stylish with a swirl and pearlescent effect. Had some issues with the clip but sent it back and resolved the issue. Unique pen. Not a commonly talked about monteverde pen. I would get it again.
