The Monteverde Monza ID fountain pen is an eyedropper/converter/cartridge fountain pen. The Monza ID's translucent resin barrel and cap are trimmed with chrome accents and the fountain pen is fitted with a #5 steel Omniflex nib.
The versatile Monteverde Monza ID fountain pen is packaged in a slim, transparent, plastic box and includes an ink converter, 2 ink cartridges (1 black and 1 blue), 2 2ml vials of fountain pen ink (1 black and 1 blue), and a 4ml pipette to fill with ink when using the pen as an eyedropper.

Great looking pen in fun colors. The packaging and included goodies are beyond awesome. The presentation of this is so nice, it would make a good gift for a fountain pen newbie, as it's pretty much a complete fountain pen starter kit. I haven't been able to get any flex but after a bit of aligning it writes a nice F/M line (it has feedback but is no longer scratchy). The green Monza ID matches my favorite green ink (Diamine Meadow) so perfectly, I will most likely eyedropper it and they can be BFF.

Pen works well, now. That is, the first one I ordered right out of the box would blot out ink in the middle of a sentence. Called Pen Chalet and spoke to a very helpful young woman who on finding out the make of the pen directed me to call the manufacturer and said they would immediately exchange my pen for a new one. I did, and they exchanged my pen for one that works perfectly. I love the Flex nib and the inking options. Overall good pen.

I am having a lot of fun with this pen. The #5 steel omniflex nib is pretty stiff but works well. Nice demonstrator pen with clear feed so you can see everything. Great packaging that can be repurposed. Feels light in the hand. Not so precious that I would get upset over any stains. I might have to buy more!

Put the cartridge in and a min later it was ready to write and the flex is nice. A nice starter fountain pen and is nice you have choice of cartridge, converter or eyedropper. Cap posts securely.
