The Monteverde Aldo Domani fountain pen comes with a glossy pearlescent finish. Both the cap and barrel are made from metal for a durable pen ideal for business executives and working professionals. Choose from an array of color finshes.
The Monteverde Aldo Domani fountain pen is fitted with a mid-sized profile stainless steel nib that is smooth to write with. Included with the pen is an ink converter for bottle inks as well as a couple standard universal ink cartridges.
*Monteverde fountain pens purchased in 2020 or later, may be packed in the "new" Monteverde pen box, a thin, black plastic box with grey velvet lined interior. The black is encased in a green/black cardboard sleeve featuring the Monteverde branding.

And of course, we have the Monteverde Aldo Domani fountain pen. It's an all metal pen, both the cap and barrel are metal. It has a beautiful lacquer finish, kind of a pearlescent finish to the pen, it really looks sharp. I really like the way that looks, almost three-dimensional.
Silver colored accents throughout the pen. It has a black medallion at the top with black resin. It has a chrome band with Monteverde USA at the cap of the pen with a chrome colored clip and a chrome ring in the center. The bottom of the barrel has Aldo Domani in black on that ring. At the bottom of the barrel, same as the top, black resin medallion with a chrome ring at the bottom.
Cap is threaded and unscrews, and it posts nicely on the pen, Has a black, glossy resin section to the pen with a stainless steel nib, the Monteverde nib. You can see the logo on the nib and the feed on the backside. It's a cartridge converter style pen, so to change the ink you simply unscrew that section from the barrel. Also included with the pen is an ink converter for use with bottled inks. Fairly inexpensive pen, great value. I do like the pearlescent lacquer finishes on the pen. Great pen, great design. This is the Monteverde Aldo Domani fountain pen. It comes in a traditional green Monteverde box with the Monteverde logo on the top of the box lid, which lifts open. It has a white satin interior with the Monteverde logo on the underside of the box lid. Underneath the false bottom of the box is a couple of Monteverde standard, universal ink cartridges, as well as the warranty and the use and care guide for the pen.And of course, we have the Monteverde Aldo Domani fountain pen. Decent pen for the price. The omniflex nib is pretty useless for me, I'm sure I just don't know how to use it. Don't try to learn how for the first time with this pen, the ink does dry out more quickly than on other nibs for whatever reason. And be careful, scratches easily too.

I love how this pen feels and posts. I don't care for the difficulty of starting the extra fine nib. It's too scratchy. I have medium nibs in 2 other Monteverde pens and they write as smooth as anything.

I received my purchased item a day earlier than quoted, which during this time of extreme COVID ordering was amazing, USPS being behind and all. The pen is smaller than I remembered but ok. The cap doesn't stay posted unless you apply a little pressure when posting it. Also, it hard starts quite often. Otherwise it is a nice pen. And like the nib otherwise, smooth when writing.
