A very nice and affordable pen. The fine point nib is smooth as silk, yet it offers sufficient resistance to give one's hand control in sculpting a well formed script. It's especially good on quality paper. Excellent balance while writing when the cap is riding on the tail of the pen, but not bad with the pen alone. Besides all that, it's a nice looking pen. Almost as admirable as the old Parker 51, Mount Verde seems to have produced another exceptional value for the money product!
