About the Montegrappa Queen: A Night at the Opera Limited Edition
The Montegrappa Queen: A Night at the Opera Limited Edition fountain pen has been created with Universal Music’s merchandising arm, Bravado, in collaboration with Queen founding members, Brian May and Roger Taylor.
The band Queen has been riding a wave of renewed popularity since the release of the blockbuster hit movie Bohemian Rhapsody. The song, Bohemian Rhapsody was released on the album A Night at the Opera in 1975 and features the legendary Queen crest that was designed by Freddie Mercury. This same crest has been featured on the barrel with a lost-wax casting process. The cap features a crown studded with blue sapphires, rubies and diamonds and a microphone on the clip. Numerous other design features representative of the band have also been captured as well.
This limited edition pen comes in sterling silver and limited to 555 fountain pens. It uses a piston fill system and has been fitted with a solid 18k gold nib.
Special packaging is a deluxe lacquered wooden case realized in burgundy gloss with the Queen Crest in gold foil.
