Made exclusively for Pen Chalet, the Leonardo Momento Zero Grande Tredici fountain pen features a blue abyss celluloid body with gold trim. The body and cap both have 13 faceted sides that add to the way the pen glistens in the light as well as keeping the pen in place when set down. Limited to 100 pieces and each pen has been individually numbered.
Fitted with a solid 14k gold nib and a piston filling system. Each pen comes with a bottle of Leonardo fountain pen ink and is presented in a large gift box.

I received this pen with a hairline crack in the section, and it leaked. Penn Chalet did a great job in getting me a replacement without any fuss. The pen itself is a lightweight version of the typical Italian pen. It does not have an ink window, nor a reserve as is present in some Visconti pens, and it has a rather deep and sharp stepdown from the barrel to the section. I got a gold nib, and after a pass on micromesh, the nib was smooth and wet. I think the pen was expensive even though I bought it on sale when compared with other pens in its price range.

I would like to thank the fox in pen chalet for a beautiful pen and smooth fast services , the momento zero grande Tredici fountain pen that I purchase is no exception from Leonardo officina Italiana the Italian fine writing instruments manufacturer standard and quality .
The pen is solid well build , the look are amazing once the pen in your hand , the intersection of the blue abyss celluloid and the faceted sides is magical ,the facets unify the cap and body with continues straight lines disturbed with the elegance of the blue ,gray ,dark blue celluloid lines , the three bands in the middle works like its holding the facets and lines together so it will stay in your hand in handsome dialog before you start writing with the pen , the pen comes with piston filling mechanism and fitted with number six nib very smooth with touch of feedback that I like, am not shore about the nib manufacturer , the music nib I chose in my opinion fits the pen attractive musical character , the ebonite feed insure the ink flow ,and am using the pen every day for more than a two weeks now no hard starts great tune out of the box .
Comparing the tredici with my Omas paragon , the only thing I wish was more girth to the pen , the paragon facets are 4mm wide were the Tredici facets around 3mm , even though each one is unique on its way , I think the price is reasonable for what you get , and really recommend the Tredici for anyone is looking for modern classic pen .
