Beautiful letters are sent to me, written with this pen. It is as it is, a Safari, and the safari is the adventure itself. I do believe that with the price, Lamy should automatically offer a converter. Pilot does this with the Metropolitan.

This is my second Lamy Safari fountain pen and this one is better than my first. The finish of pen is slightly rougher than my other Safari (not the Dark Lilac) so it doesn't slide in my hand. The color of the ink is slightly underwhelming, it's bluer than I was expecting. But that's minor. I really like this pen.

Nice work horse pen. Love the dark lilac with black nib (broad). Rinsed the nib with water before inking up with Diamine Imperial ink. No hard starts or skips. Smooth on Rhodia paper. Some feed back on inexpensive paper. No bleed through. Appreciated the excellent service from Pen Chalet!!

I love the Dark Lilac Safari. The nib is juicy and so smooth. Quite incredible. It is a Broad nib which Pen Chalet was gracious to swap for me when I requested. They do things like this to accommodate customers. I like to do business with them. I have purchased several pens from them and each one has been successful.

I love everything about this pen...except the ink that came with it. So, I am using it for everything so I can use my dark lilac ink that came a few days separate from the pen. This is my first time using a Lamy pen, and I plan to order another one!

I have always been a Lamy fan. Haven't had one for a while after my Vista broke. I picked up the dark lilac Safari. Wow! What a smooth writer! I love it! This is not an expensive pen, but DEFINITELY one of my favorites. This one is now my EDC pen. I have large hands and this works perfect for me. I am one of those who LOVES the 3 facets on the grip, as that is exactly how I hold my pens anyway. This pen is so easy to clean and fill. Something that is kind of taken for granted, this pen is SO simple to change the nibs. Most of my pens are NOT so simple. Just in that regard this pen is amazing! That is a huge design PLUS! It is just a great all-around pen! I really can't find any constructive criticism. Just keep up the good work Lamy. Pen Chalet shipped super fast! KUDOS!
