Kaweco AL Sport Piston Fill Starter Set Fountain Pens
About the Kaweco AL Sport Piston Fill Starter Set
The Kaweco AL Sport Piston Fill Starter Set pairs the iconic Kaweco Sport pocket fountain pen design with an integrated piston filling system and everything needed to start filling from bottled ink. Each set includes a Kaweco AL Sport Piston Fill fountain pen and a 32ml bottle of blue fountain pen ink, presented together in a distinctive round metal tin.
Originally created in 1935, the Kaweco Sport has become a favorite everyday carry fountain pen recognized for its compact size and signature oversized cap. When posted, the cap extends the pocket-sized pen to a comfortable length for writing.
Piston filling also has deep roots in Kaweco history. In 1937, the Kaweco Sport fountain pen was presented as a piston filler under the name #612, with the concept continuing to evolve through different versions over the decades. The modern Kaweco AL Sport Piston Fill fountain pen brings that historic filling method to the familiar aluminum Sport design.
An integrated piston mechanism allows ink to be drawn directly from a bottle into the pen's internal reservoir without the need for an ink cartridge or converter. A transparent ink window makes it easy to monitor the remaining ink level while you write.
Combining Kaweco's compact everyday-carry design with the convenience and traditional experience of bottled ink filling, the AL Sport Piston Fill is an appealing choice for writers, artists, fountain pen enthusiasts, and collectors.
