About the Karas Kustoms Ink
The Karas Kustoms Ink fountain pen is made from solid bar stock aluminum, brass or copper which makes for a hefty pen. The full 6061-T6 aluminum pen weighs about 1.1 oz, the C360 brass weights 3.9 oz and the tellurium copper is 4.1 oz. Of course you can always mix and match the components like choosing an aluminum barrel and then weight the front of the pen with a brass or copper section.
Each aluminum part is anodized while the brass and copper are raw and will color with use, however, you can always polish these pieces to keep the shiny if you would like.
Each Karas Kustoms Ink fountain pen comes fitted with a Bock stainless steel nib and a standard international ink converter as well as a cartridge.
Like all Karas Kustoms pens, the Ink fountain pen is made in USA.

This is a cartridge converter pen, so included with the pen is some ink, standard universal ink cartridges, as well as a converter in a small bag. Also is a Karas Kustoms logo or sticker, and then information on the pen and how to use it, and warranty information. And, of course, we have the Karas Kustoms Ink fountain pen.
It's all metal components, so this is the orange anodized aluminum. So it also is available with brass and copper, or the aluminum like this particular pen. Has a clip here that is a metal clip, kind of wraps around the top. Each of the clips are the silver color. You can see the small machined screws that hold the clip there in place at the top of the cap. Little bit of a chamfer here at the top with a little small groove in the cap of the pen. Other than that, it's a pretty simple design, basic pen.
The cap is threaded and unscrews. You can kind of post it. It just kind of sits on the end of the barrel, so it doesn't really post real nicely, although it does sit there.
The threads, you can see where the cap screws on, and then a section on the front. This section is a silver color. You can also get the section in black, or you can get a copper or brass to just add a little bit of weight to the front of the pen. You can see the nib, small. It's a Bock nib with the feed on the pen. Since it's a cartridge converter style pen, you just unscrew that section and you can insert your converter or ink cartridges on the back side of the feed there.
Great pen, I really like the colors and the designs. Get your Karas Kustoms Ink fountain pen at PenChalet.com!

Karas Kustoms Ink Reviews
I bought the Olive Green version of this pen and also an extra section in brass for it.
The Karas Kustoms Ink with brass section has become the best steel nib pen I own, but a bit of a disclaimer, I really hate Bock Nibs. So I replaced it with a Medium #6 nib from Franklin Christoph. The Bock Nib just has a weird type of scratchy feedback and softness that did not merge well with me. The nib worked fine and was moderately wet, but the feel was just not for me. With the FC nib replacement, it has been an absolute dream.
The pen is on the heavy side, but not nearly so heavy as to fatigue the hand. It is the perfect substantial weight, and with the brass section, the balance is ever so slightly weighted toward the nib side. Which is perfect. The combination of the flared and contoured section with the semi-hooded nib gives you that excellent feeling of complete and utter control over the pen and closeness to the page. With the metal body, this pen is virtually indestructible and will last you a lifetime. The pen doesn’t post but I’m honestly glad that it doesn’t because that would backweight the pen. The ink is long enough to be used by any hand without needing to be posted, anyway.
This is the pen that comes to my mind before any other when I think about a “buy it for life” type of pen.
This pen gets my highest recommendation.

Bock nib a bit hard-starting at times, sometimes not super smooth. Love the heft and weight. The aluminum body is top notch milling.

The Ink is the name of the fountain pen. I'd been looking for the perfect brown pen for a while, and this was it!
The pen came on time, in perfect condition. I am enjoying writing with it. Pen Chalet is a great place to buy fountain pens, and all of the stuff that goes with them -- ink, paper, converters.

FAQs about the Karas Kustoms Ink
Q:
I'm very interested in the Karas Kustoms Ink Fountain pen. I'd like to buy a green one, and I'd like it with a copper section and a medium nib.Is that possible?
A:
Yes we can custom build a pen for you any way you would like. We may not have all of the parts in stock but can get them in a day as we are located in the same city as Karas Kustoms. We would also have to charge a bit extra for the copper section as opposed to the aluminum one that comes standard on the pen.
