Originally introduced in 1929, the Symetrik was Conklin's first streamlined fountain pen design, which was a departure for Conklin at the time, and the new Symetrik was an instant success. Inspired by the concept of symmetry and balance, the Symetrik collection is designed to look and feel pleasant in hand. Based on the 1929 design, the modern take retains the original pen's vintage appeal. Designed with comfort in mind, Symetrik features a proportional and streamlined body design decorated with lustrous chrome clip, band, and trim that perfectly outlines the shape and details of each writing instrument. The original 1930 patented design included an inlay in the shape of a half-moon on the cap just above the clip and enameled rings. In today’s modern take on this classic, Conklin recreated the popular Symetrik with a smooth, continuous design, making the new Symetrik release one to adore. Unlike the original darker color tones offered in the 1930s Symetrik collection, newly introduced transparent colors feature unique, delicate patterns and appear vibrant and rich.

The Conklin Symetrik Series fountain pen is fitted with a #6 stainless steel fountain pen nib engraved with the famous Conklin® logo in varying nib sizes. The fountain pen uses a cartridge converter filling system, and each Conklin Symetrik fountain pen includes a standard international size converter and two standard international size ink cartridges (under the pen box's false bottom).
