About the Conklin Limited Edition All American Matte Black
The Conklin Limited Edition All American Matte Black fountain pen is crafted from a handmade European high-grade black matte resin.
The Conklin LE All American Matte Black rollerball pen design features a spring metal clip (replacing the traditional spring lever clip of the All American), and this limited edition also features a slightly longer and thinner pen body, as well as a thinner grip section. Fans of the All American will notice the more gradual step-down from the pen barrel to the section, as well as the change to the threads allowing you to open or close the cap in 1 single turn (instead of the 2 full turns required for the traditional All American pen).
The smooth matte black resin is available alongside two trim options: Gunmetal (black) or Rose Gold. Both trim options provide a wonderful finishing touch to the overall style this limited edition brings to your collection. The Conklin trademark and All American logo are elegantly engraved on the barrel with the limited edition number included on the backside of the cap.
Each Conklin All American LE Matte Black fountain pen is a cartridge converter fountain pen. The design features Conklin's popular spring-loaded clip (originally patented in 1916), and each is fitted with a smooth, black Jowo nib displaying the brand name and marked with special crescent-shaped breathing holes unique to Conklin.
