Pen Chalet service - next to nothing. Very responsive. Chose the pen that I want (with an excellent Chinese number of this LE) Deb was great!
Pen - heavy, mighty as a sword. The nib is wet (I was worried as it is 1.1 and not 1.5 mm, but actually still writes very well. The discount is a bonus.

The All American pens are a good value for the price especially if you like “chunky” cigar shaped pens. The materials are high quality (both plastics and wood). My only complaint is the nibs - and that’s an important issue to say the least. Nib performance out of the box is hit or miss. I have several All Americans and some wrote well; some required a lot of attention.

This Conklin All American is one of my favorites. It rights well for my style (med nib) and I love the larger size. It is well balanced and is a very consistent writer. I have and will continue to purchases Conklin items and from Pen Chalet.

Physically a beautiful pen, lovely blue color. Writes fairly well, reasonably smoothly with decent, reliable ink output. A bit hefty for smaller hands.

Started out nicely. Not a wet as I had anticipated but it wrote nice. Not as smooth as I had hoped. 2 weeks in of light use, it stops writing. Nib and feed look crooked. I take care of my pens. Hope this "special edition" is not a "lemon."
