The cap's finial boasts an 18KT gilded rose gold coin depicting Themis, the Greek goddess of justice, engraved with the quote "lustitia est caeca" (Justice is blind) and "LEX." The rose gold pen clip features an image of the iconic scales of justice, signifying the pen’s theme even when it is capped and not in use. The Conklin Lex fountain pen boasts a premium 18KT gilded rose gold stainless steel nib made in Germany by JoWo, the preeminent nib manufacturer in the world.
