The J Herbin Smooth Frosted Glass Dip Pens are hand blow in the same tradition as 16th century Venice making each pen unique and it's own work of art. The fine clear glass tips are twisted to create a spiral to hold more ink so you will not have to re-dip your pen. One dip of ink can write as much as a full page.

My first foray into dip pens. I also bought a Rohrer &K. This one is made in China, clunky and graceless. But cheaper than the German-made R&K.

I purchased this glass dip pen for entering inks in my ink journal. It is very pretty and due to the style of the swirl "nib", once dipped, the ink goes a long way. I wasn't sure what to expect...I love the idea of the glass dip pen, but learned that I prefer a metal dip pen nib over the glass. The pen itself is lovely and I would recommend it if you have a lighter hand at lettering.

This is my first Glass Pen so using it was a learning experience. The length, weight and over all balance is good, it's just a little "thin" for my fingers....I need something a little "beefier" I LOVE being able to switch between different inks with just a dip of water.
