It's as thin as a pencil. The ballpoint refill inside of it is smooth and dark. I like that I can grip the pen further away from the end, for those times I need to write in odd positions. Overall I think it's a very nice pen and look forward to using it at work. Even better that it came with that free leather slipcase to protect it in my jacket or book bag.

Excellent quality. Thin barrel but has nice heft due being made of metal. Writes smooth, almost like a fine ballpoint, but not. Love the matte black finish so it doesn't show my fingerprints all the time. I use it everyday at work and have received several compliments from clients.
