Switzerland's most commonly used, everyday pen, the Caran d’Ache 825 ballpoint pen, is more eco-responsible than ever before with the release of the Caran d'Ache 825 Wood Chips ballpoint pens (set of 2).
A milestone for the company, the Caran d'Ache 825 Wood Chips ballpoint pen feature the very popular and recognizable hexagonal pen body shape, but they are made from 60% renewable materials - specifically wood chips and wood cellulose produced during the manufacture of Caran d'Ache colour pencils in the company's Geneva workshop. The recycled material creates a new, exciting, eco-friendly outfit for one of Caran d'Ache's most well-loved pen designs. Collecting the wood chips in-house means nothing is lost, everything collected, transformed, and given a new, long life in the circular economy.
The retractable ballpoint pen has a stainless steel 1mm ballpoint and each pen comes with a blue medium cartridge.
Set of 2 Caran d'Ache 825 Collection Wood Chips ballpoint pens is packaged in 100% recycled and recyclable cardboard packaging printed with food grade inks.

Great pens. They by far are the most smooth single use ballpoint pens I have ever used (they write like the Goliath refills). The wood chip adds visual appeal and I like the back story. Pen barrel is smooth.
