I just received this gorgeous pen today, my birthday present to myself. It's beautiful, writes like a dream and is quite a head-turner! I don't purchase many limited number pens but I'm so glad I teamed myself into this one. I did notice that while the number certificate was included in the box, I did not find the care instructions that normally come with most pens. I'm pretty week versed in all pen care but it's nice to have those instructions. Other than that, I'm over the moon with my decision to get this Delta!

Very nice pen with great feel and weight. I'm not a long time fountain pen user/owner, and I am very impressed with the smooth feel and balance while writing. My only surprise was the absence of any "user manual" type documentation. I was expecting some tips for proper handling and care.

I love the green pattern on my Duna Vortex. Pen is a bit large in my hand, but still comfortable, and the EF nib requires only a light pressure when writing, to minimize drag. One needs to slow down and relax the writing hand to enjoy the pleasures of fountain pen writing.

This pen has quickly become an extension of me; and writing with it has solved carpal tunnel and arthritis issues by virtue of it's intuitive design. I frankly thought it was on sale by accident, and when it took a few weeks to arrive, I felt good that whether it was unintentionally discounted or not, that you provided exactly the pen I ordered. I've had MontBlancs, Pelikans and several other grail pens and this one beats them all in every aspect. I would not trade it for any other pen. Your customer service has been excellent, and this is a win!

A lovely piece with good build quality, though the first pen I received had a defective fine nib (malaligned tines and very scratchy). Pen Chalet’s customer service was immediately responsive to my call and immediately shipped me out another pen which is perfect! A very luxurious pen. It is weighty, but not heavy—you feel its presence in your hand, telling you that you are using a special pen. I got the medium and it glides across Rhodia paper. I tried the fine, which was also great, but it had just a little too much feedback for me. The medium has hardly any feedback. If that’s your jam, and you want a pen that feels substantial and looks elegant—oh, and if you like blue—check this one out. I am not disappointed in the least.

I had wanted to add the Delta Hippocratica to my collection for a long time. Luckily, Delta has come back to life and Pen Chalet had the pen available. It has been even better than I hoped. The pen writes as great as it looks. The screw to post cap works perfectly and the clip lines up to the nib every time. It is Delta at its best!

I bought this because of my birthday discount-I was reluctant because I like a large diameter @ the grip, as I have large hands.
I love the screw-in converter; I'd like the metal threads in the body to be matched by metal threads on the grip section-this is minor.
The pen is beautiful; mine is 75/399-stamped on the metal threaded band. I like to post-this doesn't.
The most important part-it is very comfortable to write with. Have used a lot in the last 24 hours, very very smooth, and no flow issues.
Overall, I am glad that I bought it. The service @ Pen Chalet is always top notch.

Since receiving this pen a couple of weeks ago I have used it a lot. It is well made and fits nicely in the hand making for a comfortable writer. As for the writing, mine is an fine and it is smooth to write.

This is an extraordinary writing instrument as it should at price. Mine is a daily choice at my desk simply because there are no faults or flaws. The gold appointments add to the demonstrator style. Nib is 14kt yellow gold, nice flexing (some) with good metering and extremely smooth on all papers. Sadly, I understand the firm has gone the path of Omas. If you collect and should run across one, snap it up.
