About Demo Blue Conklin All American Demo Special Edition
New from Conklin's All American pen collection, the Conklin All American Demo Special Edition has dedicated pen fans all aflutter. Not only does this translucent pen allow a crystal clear view of the inner workings of the All American fountain pen, but this beautiful demonstrator is also designed to be easily converted from cartridge converter pen to eyedropper pen. Simply remove the ink converter and use the included eyedropper to add fountain pen safe ink to the barrel of the pen.
With handmade crystal clear resin for both the barrel and the cap, along with chrome, rose gold, or gunmetal trim (depending on your color selection), this special edition of the All American is a striking pen design.
Demonstrator pens like the Conklin All American fountain pen are inspired by (and named after) the "demonstrator" pens salesmen used as sales tools in years past. The clear materials of the pen allowed them to demonstrate the inner workings of the pen. The All American Demo Special Edition fountain pen features the same popular All American pen design you know and love.
Each pen is machined to perfection. The Conklin name is seen on the pen's spring lever clip, and the Special Edition pen information is subtly engraved on the barrel. The pen has a threaded cap that unscrews and can post on the end of the barrel of the pen. The pens use standard international ink cartridges or a converter (included). Plus as a bonus it is also an eyedropper pen. Included with the pen is an eyedropper for filling.
Each pen is housed in a luxury gift box and includes two ink cartridges.

Bigger then expected but serve its purpose. I got the broad nib for marking up drawings. Ink flows generously. The pen asthestic is okay nothing fancy. The box it came with was very nice and nicely packaged.

I like how it writes. I’ve inked it with Robert Oster and it flows well and is wet even with a fine line.
I inked it as an eye dropper. I noticed the section had metal so I was worried about this. I left the ink in for 12 hours, and the metal parts did indeed corrode. There was discolouration and some red spots too. I would highly recommend hot using it in the eye dropper way.
Overall, a good writing experience with some caveats.
