Works as designed, very good quality and nice appearance. Note only one loop per pen, which is nice because it hides less of the pen, but also a little less secure. Pens need to be straightened at times, but I am a bit of a perfectionist.

I had been researching this case on other websites for some time, but never placed an order because I had read so many negative reviews about the quality of the elastic bands and the stitching. When they went on sale at Pen Chalet, I decided to order one and give it a try. Well, I don't know if people were buying counterfeits on other sites, or Monteverde issued a bad batch, but mine was so nice and well-made that I turned around and ordered four more! That's one of the great things about doing business with Pen Chalet. I know I'm going to get the best quality at the lowest price. (And no, I don't have any special relationship with the company or anyone who works there.)
I appreciate the fact that the elastic bands hold my pens firmly in place, and protect them against damage. The flap between the two halves of the case is soft and cushions them beautifully. I have my case stored on a bookcase in my office. It looks great, and is the perfect solution to my pen storage problem. Highly recommended, without reservation!

INCREDIBLE CASE! you cannot find a case this well made at suck a modest price. Has a middle section to prevent the pens from rubbing together when closed. Fits different sized pens very well. Mine holds pens from a pilot metro to a Conklin All American perfectly. Now I need to order more pens to fill it up so that i can order another one!!
