Somewhat disappointed. Definitely a case of "you get what you pay for".
Very surprised that each color pen comes with a matching ink cartridge.
I'm sure it is a good pen to begin with, but it does look, and feel, cheap.

A bit conflicted on this one. I use my Preppy's for ink sampling and would rather have a medium nib and this only comes in fine. But nice that the branding is off as the pen looks so much better. The nib is good quality for such an inexpensive pen. My cap is a bit loose and I hope that the quality of this new product has not been changed. I will take a medium nib off other Preppy's and make the exchange. I use a cartridge adapter so I can test Intl Cartridge inks. Also a Platinum converter for bottle inks.

I've tried many lower priced fountain pens over the last year, and I keep coming back to this one. It is perfect, and its' low price lets me experiment with less safe inks without being too concerned for the pen's safety.

Well the perfect start-up fountain pen. Surprisingly the nib is very smooth compared to the feedback offered by the other platinum gold nibs.

Not overly impressed. I ordered two Fine tipped and one Medium; one that was supposed to be “Fine” was every bit as broad as the “Medium”. While I like the idea of a “disposable” fountain pen, the apparent variation in quality control makes it hard to recommend these pens.
