Platinum 3776 Century Fountain Pens Reviews
I heard a lot about the 3776 and decided to try it. I got the fine nib. It has a unique feel on the general paper I write on at work, but I have been using it regularly and have grown to really like the feel and the way it writes. I am impressed that it always starts ink flow right away.

One of my favorite pens. The fine nib might not be for everyone, but if you love accuracy and satisfying feedback, it's great

This is my second Platinum 3776, the first having a light brown and black cellulose barrel and cap with gold colored appointments and a 14k fine nib. This new one is different only in appearance with a translucent dark green barrel. Both are easy on the eyes and write smooth as an Olympic ice-skater. Oh yea, they are both a lot of bang for the buck.

This is one of the smoothest fountain pens that I own. Love it.

This is my second 3776 Century pen, the first with SF nib. It writes smoothly, with very little feedback.

This pen is exquisite! I love the broad nib, and the ink flow is smooth. The barrel fits nicely in the hand and is a beautiful dark green, almost black.

This is a nice pen. It feels good in the hand, super light, and the Chartres blue is really pretty. The 14k nib is nice with a bit of feedback, but not unpleasant. It went to being one of my top used pens.

This was my first gold nib pen and after heavy use for several weeks it has become one of my top workhorse fountain pens along with my Leonardo Momento Zero. A few things I believe make this pen a good EDC. The style is professional (in the black), it is a very reliable writer without any hard starts or skipping, it is well balanced posted and is comfortable for long writing sessions. Finally, the gold nib provides a different feel (like a pencil) that gives a very pleasant feedback. Finally,, a couple things that could be better. It is a very light pen, made of plastic with a budget feel and the medium nib was a dry writer. I was able to open up the tines slightly with a brass shim which corrected this to some extent. Over all enjoy the pen and don't regret the purchase.

Nice pen and great nib. A little pricey for what it is but typical for Japanese pens. Great service as usual from pen chalet
