In my opinion, these pens with the soft fine nibs are the very best pen on the market. They'd be worth it at twice the price, but glad they are sold at such a reasonable price. I've a dozen of them, most of them purchased right here at PenChalet for their great prices and fast and friendly service!

This pen is a smooth writer. No feedback to mention. The medium point is right for me with and ink. Decent price for a 14K nib pen.

3776 Century pens are rapidly becoming one of my favorite pen lines. I don't normally love gold trim on pens, but it works pretty well on this Chartres Blue. I got the Soft Fine nib on this one, and I like it quite a lot! Nice and flexy.

The 3776 Century is an excellent pen. Many have described how it writes as a "soft pencil", and I agree. The medium 14k nib writes beautifully, not too wet or dry and with just the right amount of line thickness and feedback. It does have a dry start when sitting uncapped for a brief amount of time, but restarts quickly and consistently. The pen is very balanced when posted, with just the right combination of length, width, and weight.

Exceptional quality and looks. I got the soft fine nib which has a very nice spring to it that makes writing a joy. Feedback is quite interesting and makes me feel in control of my writing. My only concern is that the photograph for the white model makes it look pink-ish on the site. It's actually white/off-white IRL. Just something to consider if you're looking to buy it. I'm still very very happy with the purchase and like the off-white look.

This is my second Platinum fountain pen. The first was a Procyon that I got on a whim. It was on special and included a converter. The nib was so fabulous it eventually displaced all my other fountain pens. It also enabled me to discover that I prefer writing with a really, really fine line. I had already noticed that the 3776 Century was advertised with an ultra extra fine nib, but the price was just out of reach. The I got a 15% birthday discount. Then it came on special. Now I have what I guess must be my grail pen. It writes the thinnest line of anything I have ever used and does so effortlessly.

I have been wanting to add the Platinum 3776 Century in Chartres Blue for quite awhile. Thanks to the PenChalet prices that desire was made into a reality. This is a solid pen at such a great price-point for a 14k gold nib. I like a Western medium or broad nib. After researching the Platinum nibs and watching many YouTube videos, I choose a broad nib. It's between a Western medium and a Western broad. I'm so glad I did. It's fantastic! I love the firmness of the nib as I'm not into a soft-bouncy writing experience because my writing style isn't conducive to soft-bouncy. This is an amazing writer. It is super smooth and offers feedback, which I like. It lays down a nice line of ink. Aesthetically, this pen is a 10 out of 10. It is gorgeous if you're into deep blue and gold accents, which I am. It feels really good posted or unposted. I have been reaching for this pen ever since I received it and inked it up. I'm very glad to add it to my collection.

Great for my note taking needs. Bought the Medium Nib. Decided to buy another Platinum because I was so pleased with the ink flow and control of this nib. Nib might be a bit stiff and a bit too much feedback for some tastes, but it is exactly what I needed for my note taking and the variety of paper I use, though typically use Ampad Gold Fiber Pads, which are probably not meant for fountain pens. Using Platinum Blue/Black cartridges.
