The last time I used a fountain pen was more than 50 years ago, when I was learning to write in cursive in elementary school. My purchase of the Pilot Knight was made on a whim, and it was a good decision. The ink flow is good, and the pen feels comfortable in my hand. I would recommend this affordable pen to anyone who is considering the purchase of a fountain pen. My transaction with Pen Chalet was excellent.

A clear step up from the Metropolitan, the Pilot Knight is terrific value for money ($24) from Pen Chalet. The medium nib version starts unfailingly and writes consistently with no skipping nor other issues. The Pilot Knight is elegant but robust and is ideal as both a start-up pen and as a nice addition to any collection.

What a great pen, and for a great price! The Pilot Knight (M nib) is a solid, dependable writer, amazingly smooth and reliable (no skips, hard starts) for the price point. Because of these features, it's an ideal every day carry pen. Note that Pen Chalet value, responsiveness and professionalism are all first rate.

Very nice pen for the money. The nib is better than the Metropolitan though the Metropolitan is easier to grip since its barrel isn't so slick. Wish this was available in more choices.

Very nice pen—especially for the money. The nib is much smoother than the Pilot Metropolitan.

Excellent fountain pen with smooth pen point and well constructed metal barrel and cap. Very good value in a fountain pen...

Great quality construction and a nib to match. The Knight has a medium flow that's very consistent, which paired with a smooth nib makes the pen a joy to use.

Received the pen. The case is nice and was packaged securely. The squeeze converter works as expected, with limited capacity. The pen shows fingerprints like nobodies business though. It is not as slippery to hold as I had expected it to be with the plastic grip area.
The medium nub works fantastic and lays down a great line. Starts up every time I have tried it.
Definitely worth the money that I spent on it.
