Pen Chalet mystery boxes are great and always fun! I was surprisingly shocked at the quality of the pen I received--it was fantastic gold nib!!! Pen Chalet also puts more variety and surprises into their boxes than other companies. The little touches communicate that this vendor appreciates its customers. Who knew that receiving my "ink oracle" would be so entertaining?

This was a great value. Only issues, and this does happen with mystery boxes, it was really designed for a woman - only reason for the low product style score. A lot of great stuff in the box - This was fun.

I just got my mystery box today and it is absolutely beautiful. While the pen is gorgeous and one I don’t have, I think my favorite thing in the box is the “raining cats and dogs” pen rest. I’m a MASSIVE dog lover and this made me literally giggle when I unwrapped it.

It is always a bit hard to write a review for a "blind box" item as it has little to no confirmation of the quality of future boxes. But from the one I got, I was quite happy, I did felt a tinsy bit "cheated" when the sneak peak indicated that the fountain pen had a "gold nib". And while it is mostly true, it was a gold plated nib. Even with that, I am not disappointed. I wanted a pen from the brand and I got one at a slightly cheaper price than MSRP, all the rest of the box content were freebies that came with the pen. At least that's how I see it. As far as I am personally concerned, I will indulge myself in these mystery boxes in the future, they are fun and it is always fun to find a pen or item that you were always curious about but never buy yourself.

Loved this box! The only way it could have gotten any better was to order in time to get a stub nib.Beautiful pen, love this brand.The ink was beautiful, the pen case was lovely and the pen stand was very unique and all the extras too. By far, my favorite box but have liked them all.

Wow!, I really WAS surprised! I was expecting something different and then getting the Black/Gold Tibaldi Bononia! I have seven Bononias and didn’t have this one. I love the pen - it writes beautifully with some Monteverde ink. A fine line for a Medium which is what I like. The pen rest is very nicely done - great workmanship. I also love the Aston pen sleeve - that’s my prefered sleeve - it softens and molds to any pen. Haven’t tried the inks yet!

I'm so happy with what was in this box. Not only is it an awesome value, but the actual items were clearly curated and are of high quality. I won't spoil what's inside, but it was great!

I don't want to spoil what's in the box, so I'll say I was pleasantly surprised. I will definitely be getting the next mystery box Penchalet releases.

I like how by giving the choices of nib types and showing the value of the pen they essentially told us what the pen was, so there wasn't much of a mystery. But that's why I bought the box because I knew for sure what I'd get. Great value. Everything in the box is of good quality and worth every penny.
