The Stola III is my only Pelikan...so far. And I love it. Well made. Very weighty in the hand. Very simple and elegant design. The nib is exceptionally smooth, but not too smooth so that you forget that you're actually touching the paper. Overall, one of my favorite "starter pens" on the market today.

This is a solid every-day pen. It's not flashy and won't call attention to the fact that you're using a fountain pen. It has a good medium nib that is a little on the broad side. The nib has a hint of feedback with a surprising amount of bounce. You can easily get a little line variation.

Very, very impressive and smooth writing pen for thirty some odd $$.. And it's a Pelikan! Great pen for the money and service from Pen Chalet was excellent. Considering this is Christmas season, I was surprised at how quickly this order arrived.

High quality, affordable writer that is smooth as silk. I wouldn't expect anything less from Pelikan. This will become my everyday writer for quite a while. It would be helpful if the cap posted, but it's not enough of a deterrent to prevent anyone from purchasing it. Fantastic addition to the Pelikan family.
