Uncommonly build design using top quality acrylics and materials that can take daily use while providing quality product for writing. The nib is steel, but writes as if made of gold. This pen holds a lot of ink, plus it’s a piston filler.

Gorgeous smooth writer well worth the money.

Easily the nicest pen I own (ObNote: I haven't yet bought a pen over $150). The acrylic looks and feels great, the pen feels sturdy without being heavy, the piston is an order of magnitude smoother than either of the two TWSBIs I own, and the ink flow is exactly right for me -- moderately wet, and always dependable.

This is a beautiful pen, and a joy to write with. Not too heavy, even when capped, which is good for my small hand, as I write a lot for my work. Highly recommend.

The Schuylkill Dragonet Sapphire with stub nib arrived quickly (4 days) "Thank you Pen Chalet team!" On first sight, the pen is very pleasing to look at. It has more dark than blue and 'red' . The accent gold clip, band on cap at end-cap is captivating. I had to wait a couple days before I had free time to ink up the pen with Sailor Manyo Kuyu ink. The reason I ordered the pen was because of reviews of how smooth the pen wrote and the reviews were on the dot. I tried writing on copy paper and the pen laid down sufficient ink and was smoother than any of the other pens I have. Then went to spiral note book and it did even better. Finally tested it on iBayam notebook and it was like writing with a paint brush (@Escher).

This pen now has all my attention and will probably be the one that I take traveling.

Got the Pen only 4 days after it was ordered. The customer service person even went back to check that the model I sought was still on the shelf as its a limited edition. I immediately inked it up and was delighted with everything about it. First...Its a beautiful conversation piece. I take it to every board meeting and I'm constantly asked to try it out. It.s writing characteristics are excellent. The nib flows very well and it's very smooth with any ink and any paper that I've used so far. I very much have to resist the urge to buy a different color scheme of the same model

I am new to the fountain pen world and this was the first pen that I've purchased after falling in love with the TWSBI eco. At first I wasnt sure how I felt about it but after using it for my daily writer for two weeks now I have found that I really love it. It writes smoothly and holds a lot of ink. I still haven't had to refill it yet, although it is starting to get a little low. My only complaint is that the nob at the end that controls the piston fill mechanism is a little touchy and makes me not want to post. I have accidently twisted it a little whilst playing with the pen. I fear another quarter turn and it could have been an inky disaster.

Pictures don't do justice to this beautiful pen!!! There is a much more orange hue in the mix of this material. I absolutely love it. It writes nice, too. The 1.1 nib is marvelous. Thank you, Pen Chalet, for great service and value!

I love all the Schuylkill Narwhal Pens. They write wonderfully on any kind of paper, including cheap spiral notebooks. The ink capacity is impressive, and even if I leave it for a few days, it writes without a hitch.
