I absolutely love this Nahvalur (Narwhal) Original Plus Collection Fountain Pen in Lovina Graphite. I love the black and rose gold colors and how they elevate the look of my journals. My favorite part is the vacuum filling mechanism. What does that even mean? If you dip the nib of the pen into a new bottle of ink and click the pen, with one swift motion, the ink chamber magically fills up with ink! It happens fast and is so satisfying to watch. As if using a new pen and ink isn't fun enough! This takes it to another level. So if you enjoy putting new ink into your pens, this pen is super fun to write with and to fill.

Pleasantly surprised at how smoothly this wrote out of the gate. A little tuning and the stub nib on this Chromis Teal is performing beautifully! My first Nahvalur definitely won't be my last.

I think at this price point, the Nahvalur pens are amazing. I have lots of these, and they are all reliable writers, clean out well, and write like butter. No matter what size nib, they are all exceptional writers and seem very durable. The Schuykill, the original pistons and the Nautilus. I even bought a Horizon. I think with my pen purchases, it is even with Nahvalur and BENU.

I don't usually buy a pen that won't take a cartridge but I thought, "what the heck...grow up" so I got this pretty mint green pen. Filling it was amazingly easy and the window to see the amt of ink is very helpful. It is inked everytime I use it. One of only 3 in my collection that are always ready to go when opened. I got the fine nib and it is very smooth writing. One of the smoother ones in my collection. Very happy with this pen.

This was an experimental purchase to try a brand and price point that was a bit more affordable than some others. A highly successful result, to say the least. I chose the Marlin Blue and it is just scrumptious. It has attracted quite a few compliments. The resin has such depth that I can get lost just looking at it. The ink window adds just the right amount of pizazz. For me, a pen has to write as well as it looks and this one performs beautifully. It feels and writes as lushly as it looks. A real winner!

I've fallen in love with this pen. The resin is stunning! So many brilliant colors that complement so well together. I am in love with this pen! I have purchased about 6 from this brand. The nib is smooth and writes like butter!!! I currently have it inked with Vinta Bodabil ink and it just makes the ink flow across the paper.
The pen itself is nice and balanced. I used a syringe to fill which for me is easier and less messy than dipping the pen into the vial. I am quite happy with this pen as well as all of my other pens from this company.

Purchased the lilac and was delightfully surprised at its ease of function and lightweight design. It is plenty large for those who prefer large size pens for ease of long period writing, as well, its body holds a phenomenal amount of ink and keeps it fresh longer. The nib was very good quality, but my preference for flex nibs had me replacing with a favorite #6 flex, which means I got the pen and nib combo that I want for a nominal investment. I like it so much that I may buy another. Notably, there has NOT been a drop of wayward ink spilt on paper NOR a drop leaked into the cap; unlike some others, this one has been perfect. Superb quality large vacuum fill pen that's as easy on the eyes as it is on your pocketbook; what's not to like?

The Caldera Seas version is perhaps the most beautiful of the Nautilus line! The matching blue furniture and nib is exquisite. . The fine nib writes smoothly and creates a nice Western Fine line. The body is a lovely blue with beige swirls. The pen has a nice weight and feels great in the hand. Unless you have very very small hands, the pen is perfect for most people. PenChalet shipped the pen quickly and their customer service, if needed, is top notch.

This is an extremely well made fountain pen, my first with a vacuum filling system. I could not believe the quality when I opened the beautiful package, it contains a lovely & useful little carrying bag for the pen. The pen itself -I have the Matira White- is perfect in every detail, elegant and classy, close to 6 inches long when capped (it's comparable in size to the Monteverde Giant Sequoia), and it worked with no problems right out of the box, no rinse needed. The #6 golden Broad nib is perfectly aligned and writes satisfactorily nice and smooth. I have been using this pen continuously ever since I got it, almost a month ago. I highly recommend this pen and brand to anyone who is looking for a well made and inexpensive fountain pen. I'm very happy with this purchase and will continue supporting Nahvalur in the future.

This pen is so beautiful! I debated about this pen almost too long, but I finally decided to take the plunge. The color I wanted was gone and my second choice but I talked my self into the gold so I could get one expecting darker colors like in the picture. My pen is so colorful and just stunning, much better than expected!

I am really enjoying this pen. It wrote smoothly right out of the box. The broad nib is just what I wanted for the shimmer inks I like. No clogging and no drying up between writing. I usually have at least four pens inked at a time. Only thing that might be a problem is that the inks tend to stain the material. I just make sure I clean it very well after inking it. Overall, a great pen. And as usual, Pen Chalet shipped right away.

I was blown away by the quality of this pen. You kinda expect a ratio of price to quality. This is Visconti quality at a TWSBI Price. With the politics and cracking etc at TWSBI I am a new convert. Can’t wait for the next one.
