Absolutely stunning in person. The gunmetal trim and the dark mother of pearl are perfect together. The giftee is beyond thrilled with it. I was so fortunate to get this on a great sale which made it even sweeter.

I can't say enough good things about this pen. Fantastic value for the price, and I prefer it to some of my nicer pens. The magnetic cap is stellar quality, and feels much more solid than some of the others I've tried. Nice weight, posts very well, has a standard #6 nib if you want to swap it out, I'm hard-pressed to find critiques.

Beautiful pen, hefty and large (which is what I prefer) BUT it's a "dry" pen if you don't use daily. I've had to prime it with a bit of water several times as the nib just doesn't stay wet. Other than that, it writes smoothly and well with the F nib. LOVE the magnetic post! People NOTICE this pen when you use it.

Lovely pen. Nice attention to detail, starts smoothly and writes smoothly, heavy but I like that and was hoping for it. Magnetic cap means bit of a wiggle when capped and posted, but it stays closed. Very happy with the purchase, very *very* happy with customer service both working with me to correct an error I made while ordering, and in shipping my pen lightning-fast.

The Mother of Pearl shimmers when exposed to light and renders the pen a piece of collectible rather than a writing instrument. The large Omniflex nib is smooth and there is a good range of line variation. A rather heavy pen which is not actually suited for extended writing sessions. There aren't many manufacturers able to produce such a beauty at this price point.

When I purchase fountain pens I sometimes wonder how they will age. I enjoy cleaning and maintaining all my pens but some are more enjoyable than others, this is one of them for me. With wood and metal in its design, I'm looking forward to the challenge of keeping both wood and metal in tip top shape.
