Monteverde Monza Fountain Pens Reviews
Not a good writer. Scratching a lot and very dry. Very disappointing

Excellent work pens for the price. I have several with different color inks for making notations on shop drawings. Add to this the above and beyond customer service of Pen Chalet, and you have a great package.

The Monza is a Jinhao 992 with a Monteverde nib on it, and both pens are clear knockoffs of the Sailor Profit Junior (typically available only from Japanese retailers). The main difference is that the Monteverde has a good selection of nib sizes and costs quite a bit less than the Sailor typically does. On the down side, the Monteverde nib isn't as good as that of the Sailor pen, but there are much--MUCH--worse nibs out there. The Monza's is plenty good enough for everyday writing, especially at its price point. It's a great FP for college students, writers on the go, or a newbie to FPs. If you need a good pen knockabout FP that you don't have to worry about losing, then this will probably be a great choice for you.

Love love love love it. The quality of craftsmanship on this pen is amazing. It writes very smoothly and perfectly and the price is prefect. I highly recommend it to anyone and for beginners. It’s simple and elegant

This is a very lightweight pen, and although it feels like an inexpensive pen the steel nib does write well; the converter is easy to fill. The pen color is quite nice.

Not a bad pen. The one that I received seemed to have had a burr on the tips of the nib. However I didn't give up on it and it finally smoothed out and is a very good writer. Depending on what ink I fill it with, that will change the feed back and how wet or dry it writes. Overall, I would say it's a decent value.
