Monteverde Intima Series Fountain Pens Reviews

I now own 3 pens by Monteverde, 2 are from the Intima series. I have been impressed by this brand and by this series. Intima is beautiful and comfortable to use, a pleasure to own.

Amazing pen. Writes very smoothly and fluently. Only wish is that it came with an extra fine nib. Overall, great product. You won't be disapointed

I liked the contrast of the Volcano grey. Broad nib writes well, wet line and comfortable to hold with it's decent barrel size.

I love the way the pen looks with its neon pink body and black furnishings, but I don't love the way it writes. The nib skips quite a lot; I've worked with it and worked with it hoping that the problem would work itself out. It hasn't. Perhaps I should have contacted PenChalet and asked for a new nib, but I had a Goulet nib around and traded the Monteverde nib with it, and now it's a great writer. I just would love to have a black nib that worked as well.

I bought the Neon Pink Intima with the black trim, and it is gorgeous. The pink and purple acrylic is really beautiful, and the black trim is a nice touch. I got the fine nib, and it performs well. I would like to see Monteverde offer an XF nib. I plan on buying a 1.1 stub nib for the pen; I understand one of the nice things about the Monteverde is that you can easily interchange nibs.
