As always Monteverde products are top notch. Edging out pens that cost two or even three times as much is some cases. The finish on this pen is mesmerizing. I got the pearl white and royal blue version. Maybe the only thing that could make this pen cooler would be an option to make your nib color with the pens trim color- Blue Trim and a blue nib, how cool would that be? Quality is excellent as always and writing quality is superb. Hell, even the blue ink cartridges that came with the pen provide excellent shading- a rarity when it comes to included inks. I also have Monteverde's Invincia Deluxe Carbon Fiber pen, which is my favorite out of all my pens, which includes way more expensive pens, so that should tell you something of how much of a great pen Monteverde makes.

I have had this pen for about a week now, and the pros and cons have shown themselves already. The pen has garnered significant attention from people and the gunmetal gray is gorgeous. However, the pen's glue has already worn off, but it is nothing simple gorilla glue can't fix. Also, the finish attracts stickiness which is typical for this kind of metal. The ink flow is only good when the ink is properly placed in the converter.

This is a beautifully designed fountain pen is nicely weighted. I chose the black enamel with rose gold and it is stunning. I chose a bold nib, although it more closely resembles a medium nib. Make sure you clean the pen with soap and water very well before using, as it took a while before ink was flowing smoothly. My only complaint about this very nice pen is that it is noisy when you use it. Maybe this will pass with time. I think it is a great deal for under $50.

This is a very interesting pen with a build quality that is amazing for its price. The pen feels solid and well constructed. The clip is excellent, the cap posts securely and closes with a good satisfying click. My version has a broad nib which occasionally false starts but other than that is great. Nice and smooth and very fun.

It's excellent value for money and very distinctive in design. I'm glad Monteverde are trying something a little different.
