Monteverde 20th Anniversary Innova Gunmetal Fountain Pens Reviews
A fantastic fountain pen! I love the detail in the barrel and cap of this pen. It is a very interesting visual texture and adds to the sophistication of this fountain pen. My order was for the fine nib, which I found to be firm and smooth, and was happily surprised that it was fitted with a #6 nib. All in all, this pen is a pleasure to write with.

Nice pen but dry nib. I have 3 Conklin pens and they all have the same hard starts and dry nibs. Could be the ink could be the feed?

This was my first big fountain pen purchase. The mix of carbon and rose gold is really nice looking. Loved all the extras that came with this 20th Anniversary package.

I love this pen. First time to ever have a black nib, but it really writes well. The body and cap are very smooth and glossy. I like the positive "snap" when the cap posts or in replaced, and prefer it to the alternative of unscrewing. The pen is heavier than many but, to me, not overly butt-heavy as is a Conklin Duragraph when its cap is posted.

This is my second (or maybe third) fountain pen ever. I very much enjoy this pen, it is beautiful, substantial, and simply screams quality and style. I bought mine with the 1.1 stub nib, and I've never dealt with a stubby before! I love writing with this Innova; and that I can get some interesting qualities out of certain inks due to the stub nib. I've got it filled with Krishna's Moonview ink right now, and this ink with the stub nib makes my writing look SO much nicer than it truly is! Initially the nib felt a little draggy/scratchy, but I think it is/was due to the newness of the pen and also most likely caused by the special ink. It has gotten better, and is almost a non-issue when I pay attention to holding this pen correctly. VERY PLEASED! I plan to buy another Monteverde or maybe a Conklin for my next pen.

This was one of my first fountain pen splurges! It is beautiful and luxurious pen, I will be using this for my grad school notes as well as my Conklin pen. The style is great and the ink that comes with this is awesome. The only downside in my opinion was the product did not come with the easy cartridges so, I would suggest if you are planning on purchasing the Innova to get familiar with the converter. There are also instructions included but I would have preferred the easy cartridges refills as this is less messy if you're a first timer.

This pens writes very smooth. I only have one small issue. It seems to unscrew close to the nib while writing.
