I used this pen with my Robert Oster Shimmy & Shake Rose Gold Antigua ink. I think because the ink is a sheen/shimmer, it caused the nib to clog as I had more than 7 hard starts writing a letter on Clairfontaine paper. However, I emptied the ink and put in my Diamine Ancient Copper and it did not seem to have any issues. It did have one hard start and with the broad nib, I found this surprising. However, the nib just looking at it is more of, to me, more of the size of a M or even F nib when held up to other nibs. I am going to order a replacement nib if they carry one in stub.

I inked this pen up today with Robert Oster Shake & Shimmy Rose Gold Antigua and love the nib. It was my 1st broad nib and I am now wondering why I use F! It writes beautifully and is not a heavy pen. I cannot wait to use more shimmering inks in this pen.

I did have a tiny issue where one of the little slots that the converter fits into had a tiny extra bit of plastic where there shouldn't have been an extra bit. A quick moment to clean it out was all that was needed. Just a bit surprised I encountered that on a Lamy.

Excellent Fountain Pen. This is my second purchase in a month or so. Returning to using a fountain pen as I did as a youngster in the 50s& 60s. I especially like the design, which makes it very easy and comfortable/firm grip.
