Everyone has been talking about this pen and now I know why! I am going to start adding more to my collection

Great writer and value: replaceable inexpensive nibs with a wide variety of colors and materials, the Lamy AL, Safari, Lx and in this case clear demonstrator, Vista is a pen needed in everyone's collection. got a F nibs that writes like a M so Lamy QC needs some work but nibs are replaceable and the writing so butterly smooth with Noodler's 54th. Got an extra piston z28 converter but don't need as you can syringe cartridges just as well. All in all, love this Lamy Vista as EDC bulletproof pen.

I only started looking at Fountain Pens a short while ago, and am already quite addicted.
This Vista is only the second Lamy I have purchased (the other is a Safari), and I love it.
Very comfortable to hold, and writes very smoothly. It did feel a bit 'top heavy' with the cap on the end (is 'posted' the word?), so that will take some getting used to.
My mini 'goal' is to get a Lamy 2000, but I have to save up for that.

I was introduced to fountain pens in 1957; and over the years, have enjoyed them all. However, the LAMY Vista has been an extreme pleasure and is now my favorite daily choice!.Thanks to LAMY's incredible design and intuitive balance, there's quite a few very expensive fountain pens going into "dry dock," at least until I can find them a new home. The Vista would make a most excellent and affordable treasured gift to those who still appreciate the art of handwriting!

This review is for the Lamy Vista fountain pen with a medium nib: Although I have enjoyed using a Lamy Safari fountain pen, I bought this demonstrator version of it to see through the interior of the inked-up pen including the grip section and the feeder. This will help me to negotiate how much flushing or cleaning of the pen I need to do when I want to try different color ink in the same pen and to avoid undesirable mixing of the color. The unnecessary existence of the ink window on this clear body pen perhaps means that it is from the same Safari pen production mold. Since all parts of Lamy Safari and Vista pens are interchangeable, it is fun to use the clear barrel on other colored body Safari pens to see the whole ink reservoir status when desired.
