My two favorite pens that I have purchased from Pen Chalet have been the Lamy 2000 and the Lamy Studio. At the time I purchased the Studio, it was the most expensive pen I had ever bought. I was very excited when placing the order and mistakenly ordered the incorrect nib size. The next morning, I contacted customer support via email and a phone message and within an hour or so received a call. Even though the order was packaged and just about out the door, they were able to re-package my order with the correct size nib. I appreciated that support didn’t make me feel bad, even though the error was 100% on my end. I have always appreciated the quick shipping and excellent order communication. I never have to wonder where my order is or how long it will be until it is shipped. I’ve placed seven orders with Pen Chalet and plan to place more in the future.

I have been very pleased with my Lamy Studio(M). The design is sharp and the pen has a very nice weight and feel. It took me a minute to realize the "looseness" of the cap when posted was by design...so the metal cap doesn't scrape against the metal body. Very smooth nib.

Love the look and feel of the Studio. Medium nib is very smooth. At first, I thought it was odd that when posted, the cap seemed a bit loose, but after some research, I discovered that it is by design so that you don't scrape the metal on the body when posting. Makes sense. Great pen.

Inked the pen right out of the box, the pen wrote flawlessly. Lamy Studio Steel Nib is smooth but enough tooth and firmness, which I like. I am glad I got Fine Nib instead of Extra Fine. This will be my daily workhorse.
Happy with Pen Charlet's price and no-frills service. I will be buying more from it.

This is my second owned fountain pen, but in the 10 years that I have been writing with these pens, I've never had one that felt so sturdy in my hand, and looked so sleek. It carries a nice balanced weight across my hand, and the grip, despite being metal does not leave any feeling of slipperiness or play with my fingers.
