Lamy 2000 Fountain Pens Reviews

This pen was everything I expected it to be. I ordered the Fine nib and that was perfect for my writing. Thank you for the other reviewers for their input regarding this. I use Noodler's Ink (Midnight Blue) and it flows well. If the pen hasn't been used in a while do expect some additional wetness. But that is expected. Also remember that the pen is as good as the paper you are writing on. But overall I like how smooth this pen writes. If you use good quality paper, it will make your writing experience even better. I wish I had bought this pen earlier!!

The Lamy 2000 is an amazing pen. It writes smoothly and consistently with no skipping or hard starts. The quality of construction is aces.

I didn't think this pen would be *the one*. I have almost two dozen medium-high end pens (none above $1000). THIS is the pen I turn to to do most of my writing. It is comfortable, sturdy, elegant, has a smooth nib which makes writing a joy, and is a piston so it holds a generous amount of ink. I was really surprised that I would love the Lamy this much. A co-worker felt the same, so she bought one as well.

I puchased the LAMY 2000 with a fine nib from Pen Chalet. I love the clasic design and cap that pulls off. I have larger hands so the thicker grip section works well for me. The clip is spring loaded so it is easy to attach to my shirt pocket or notebook. The nib is very smooth and starts right up. Excellent service from Pen Chalet.

I bought one but a friend fell in love with it, so I gave it to her. Couldn't live without, so I bought myself another one. It is an excellent performer, terrific nib, smooth, high-quality work, and just an all around awesome pen.

Great pen. After I got the fine point, I loved it so much I ordered the medium point as well. Both are terrific.

Various people have described it as "like writing on glass" and I can affirm that description. It is so wonderfully smooth. And look at it. It looks like a fountain pen from the future.

Great pen, which can be almost taken for granted with Lamy, but... But... Amazing service from Pen Chalet - international orders arrive really quickly (3-4 days excluding customs) from US to UK. Not a one-off occurrence, two orders so far have been outstandingly handled. Brilliantly packed. Can't recommend highly enough.

Terrific pen at an amazing price. I had heard the hype; the Lamy 2000 lived up to it. It is a sturdy pen, classy aesthetics, and a really nice nib. Like butter!
