Kaweco Skyline Sport Fountain Pens Reviews
OMG, this pen makes me so happy. It's minty green and writes like a dream. I'm new to fountain pens and was looking for one that didn't cost the world, was easy to carry and cute. Love!

This was purchased as a gift for my son-in-law, who is also a nursing student. He said he likes the pen a lot because it's small enough to take to school, uses convenient cartridges. He was very impressed.
I want to add that Pen Chalet was very helpful and knowledgeable about all fountain pens and ink.

Great compact and sturdy pens. Love the color variety and how easy they are to maintain. Wonderful as daily writers. I don't use a clip with mine but they are quite compact that I can keep them in a pocket.

I love the look of the mint green Skyline. However, I experience hard starts. When it starts writing, it does great. If I never had to separate my words, I would have no complaints. After some adjustment, I lessened the problem, but the hard starts still occur, albeit less frequently. I expected a little more from such a popular brand. I haven't given up, though. A little more work may do the trick.

I've been eyeing the Skyline in Mint for quite some time. I already have a Kaweco Sport with a broad nib and it writes a little scratchy. I decided that I could live with a scratchy nib and got my second Kaweco. I love the color and style of this pen but I'm having start-up issues and it's driving me crazy. I don't think I'll be buying anymore Kawecos =(

I am addicted to these little pens. They are pretty good writers and I love the convenience of being able to stick one in my pocket to ensure I always have a pen on me (as a female, my clothing options usually do not include pen pockets). The color of this one is gorgeous as well.

I have another Kaweco Sport that has no issues, so I was surprised with the drawbacks to this one.
1) The finial on the cap is VERY crooked and doesn't lay flat, making it look cheap.
2) I got a fine nib that writes somewhere between a medium and a broad and has baby bottom issues.
3) Pen didn't come in a tin, but rather in a little box. I don't know whether that was a change in packaging or not, but I was disappointed not to get the tin.

This review is for the Mint-colored Skyline Sport with the fine nib. It writes well and can be taken just about anywhere because of its size. It takes standard international cartridges also, which is a big plus. The small Kaweco piston converter and the clip are good accessories to use with this pen, but it works just fine as is.
