Conklin Duragraph Fountain Pens Reviews
I use several brands of fountain pens. I should confess that before I got the pen I wouldn't expect such like excellent pen really really. It is excellently smooth and it does its job in summary. I offer it to every fountain pen lovers.

Very impressive service from Pen Chalet. Pen was shipped in less than a day. The pen is very presented in its box. The threaded converter is an excellent feature as is the threaded nib unit allowing nibs to be swapped into other Conklin models. The Durograph is light in the hand, well balanced and I find it comfortable to write with. The nib flow is wet, something rather essential for a steel nib. Very good value for money from an organisation that knows how to provide the best in service.

Very nice looking pen (Amber) and feels well enough built, but the stub nib is barely average with a semi-wet line. Hard starts even if its only been a couple minutes capped and it is not very smooth. It does come with a large box but unless it's a gift it didn't impress me as I wanted to like the pen more.
I much prefer my TWSBI stub 540/580 nibs which start right away every time (even after prolonged use) and are very smooth. Not sure if it's worth sending out for a nib adjustment or new nib as that will cost as much or more than the pen itself?

First, the service was wondeeful ...Penchalet was great. I ordered the pen on a Friday afternoon and received it on Monday morning. The Durograph pen is beautiful, it looks better then the photo in the catalog, I bought the "broken ice" . I have pens that write better ... but for $44. The pen came in a wonder gift box. I am very happy with the pen but also i am impressed with PenChalet.

I was such a good boy last year that Santa brought me all 3 colors of the Duragraph. These are the first Conklins in my collection and I am pleased with all of them. I've seen some pooh poohing of these new Conklins in some reviews. Not having any vintage Conklin pens to compare them to, I can only say the new ones are really nice. The resins are just beautiful and luminous. There is just a little tooth but I like that. Nice big pens and very comfortable in the hand whether posted or not. With a coupon from Pen Chalet and their SUPER fast shipping, what are you waiting for?

This pen was selected for it's 'vintage appearance'. It's my favorite looking pen. It writes well, though not with a very wet line.

Merry Christmas to me! I can't really say anything about how it writes (yet) since Mrs. Santa immediately whisked it away to be wrapped and placed under the tree. ( I'm so mistreated!) BUT I can tell you that I took a peek before she took it away and it is absolutely, breathtakingly beautiful. I can't wait to unwrap it Christmas morning, give it a flush and ink it up! Beautifully (but slightly morbidly) packaged. You have to get one for yourself to see what I mean. I think Santa got the Cracked Ice for me as well. (Don't tell me, it will ruin the surprise! I have been a good boy.) I'm waiting for Forest green to come out, so I'll have one of each! At this price! Are you kidding me? Why wouldn't I?!?

This pen is a real value at this price point. It did require a wash/rinse of the nib and feed to obtain proper ink flow, but that is no uncommon given the oils used in manufacture. The pen does post, at least mine does, but you end up with a nib to back length of 6 7/8 which to me is too long. Nib does have a bit of bounce to it and an ink flow of about 7/10. Overall a good performing pen at a nice price point

This is a smooth writing, very nice look pen. I have it in amber with a stub nib. The nib writes easy and quite smoothly. The pen comes with a converter and has a good weight without the cap. Capped it is rather long and a bit top heavy. The price plus the coupon discount made this an excellent buy. The Pen Chalet service, as always, was also excellent.
