I recently purchased this pen but had not used it until right before this review. This has the omniflex nib. I filled the convertor with Pelikan Royal Blue bottle ink. It took some time to get ink flow to the nib. To be fair, I did not flush the pen first. The nib is flexible and ranges from between fine/medium and broad depending on pressure. Because it lays down more ink than a very fine JoWo nib, this pen will not be used as a daily driver. While I am not a leftie, I offer caution to those who are. The pen is very attractive, appears well made, has a firm clip and the cap posts well. It feels lighter than the Abalone Nights version, probably due to the extra metal in the construction of that pen. Especially at the sale price, the quality, appearance, and performance make this a good buy. (It would have been very good with the extra fine nib.)

I acquired the Brushed steel rose gold in Medium nib. It writes smoothly! Worth the purchase! Being a metal pen, it might feels heavy for some, otherwise, it's good!

This is my first nib other than an EF or F. I am just getting used to it, but it does write smoothly. I have Monteverde Scotch Brown ink and using Nebula paper, Tomoe River 52g paper. The ink flows really well from it with no issues at all. Although I prefer a smaller nib, I will use this.

bought the Titanium Rosegold in Medium nib. Well pleased with Conklin FP! It's metal, probably will be heavy for some, this doesn't bother me. Rather not have it posted when writing.
