Smooth nib right out of the box. Well crafted and handsome fit and finish. I am very well pleased with this All American from Conklin and the great customer service from the tam at Pen Chalet! RWJ

Great pen, smooth writer, great ink flow. Just hoped the casing had a little more shin to it.

This kind of surprised me. The girth was quite large. Love the looks. The only downside for me was I found the Medium nib to be a dry writer, and the nib felt a bit scratchier than expected.

I like the look and big size of this pen. I am so glad I waited for the Jowo nib! This pen punches way above it's weight class. A great alternative for an Edison Collier.

Large, impressive pen. More importantly, I've found Pen Chalet to offer the best prices and service on a consistent basis when compared to other mail order fountain pen companies. My only complaint is that they do not sell Sailor 1911 Compass series pens.

I have an addiction with the All American.
They all possess gorgeous turned acrylic which is 15mm in diameter for the barrel which is huge.
For the price, I feel you get a lot of mass for the cost. Compared to some pens which are super slim with the only thing heavy is the price.
I pretty much have all the models and can't wait for new releases of the All American in the future from Conklin.

The pen is a large pen. Its definitely in the oversized category. Compared to the Conklin Endura its massive. However, its a comfortable pen to hold. I got the EF nib, and it came in with a tine-tune issue. Pen Chalet got me a new nib assembly super quick and it was absolutely perfect. With the new nib assembly, the pen performs flawlessly.
