Pilot Vanishing Point Fountain Pen Nibs Reviews
Great nib unit. I prefer M nibs but got this in F as the paper at work is of low quality. This nib performs great on poor quality paper. It is phenomenal on good quality paper such as Tomoe River.

Bought the broad nib unit in black. It came with the Con-40 converter, which is nice. The nib is quite broad, comparable to a European Broad. It does suffer from baby’s bottom, though.

This is, without a doubt, the finest point fountain pen nib I have ever used. Writes very well. Only drawback is due to retractable point design - the converter is on the smaller side.

This nib is a nice change from the fine points I have on my other vanishing point pens. It is definitely a thicker write yet the color is much more present in the ink and the smoothness is wonderful. It does tend to run a bit more on lesser grade paper however with journals and my Rhodia pads this nib works great.

Apparently this nib is not available on the Japanese market no more on the European market... Thanks to Pilot USA to give us the opportunity to buy it in the US market. Thanks to Pen Chalet for its nice price and to send quickly (6 days to arrive in France).
Now the little review. I've a Pilot 912 SU and i find this vanishing nib very close to the #10 : really excellent, so sweet, have the same nice flow and allows good line variation like its great sister Pilot #10. The results are very similar, it's pretty bluffing.
For me it is a very good purchase that I would recommend without hesitation to all those who would like to change with something a little more special than a Fine or a Medium (Excellent nibs too). Unfortunately we can not put an image to show some examples.

I love these pens but have gone through 6 nib units as 2 of them had uneven tine issues and others wrote very scratchy right out of the box and a couple developed issues after writing with them for a short while. I do have 3 of these pens, currently, and they write great and no issues with the nib units. Obviously some quality control issues with the nib units.

I liked my Vanishing point, but it was not an every day pen. I added a stub nib unit to my cart....yep that just made my VP an everyday pen.
