Come on. It's Waterman Ink. This fountain pen ink is so reliable and well-behaved that if a pen doesn't write well with it, you know there's something wrong with the pen, not the ink! It makes dry nibs write wetter than they will with nearly any other ink, and it calms down wet nibs, or those with infernal nib creep problems (hello, Lamy).
The colors may not be the most exciting in the world, but they're not ugly at all. They're classy and can fit into many professional and other formal writing applications with ease, even with off-the-beaten path colors like purple or turquoise. When you need to write that thank you letter to a major donor, or to the CEO who granted lowly you a job interview, Waterman Blue or Black will be the perfect ink for the occasion. It may even be required for such situations.
Best of all, Waterman sells at one of the most reasonable price points out there for bottled ink, and comes in a bottle specifically designed to get every last drop of ink out of it. I love Waterman's ink. I use Serenity blue at work so I thought I would give their Brown a shot. I'm not a fan of brown, but I wanted another ink beside black I could use in a professional setting. So I bought the brown. It shades nicely and I like it very much. Once again Pen Chalet gave great service.

Good, reliable ink. Flows well in all the pens I've used it in. Bought it for use in some of my vintage pens on the suggestion of a friend, who assured me it would give me no trouble, and I've had no trouble in the time I've used it.

I love Waterman ink, in general. When this came I had my doubts about the color, but it's a lovely dark purple and matches the new Lamy dark lilac pen I just purchased. Yay!

I LOVE all of the Waterman ink colors. The one I reach for the most is the Inspired Blue (formerly South Sea). The color and the shading are gorgeous and always brighten my day. It looks good in any pen I put it in.
