Pretty color on the ink, as shown in swatches. Plastic top isn't anywhere near the quality of the bottle and ink, which is a pity.

This ink isn't quite as dark a red as I hoped it would be, but that's probably due to monitor variations, etc. Picking colors based on what they look like online is always a bit of a risk. Still, it's a fine medium (NOT DARK) red, and is working well in my pen.

This is the most incredibly shaded ink ever! With Noodler's Ahab Flex, it is an amazing blue with red shading. With my bold nib Monteverde Impressa, it has some shading, but not alot.
