My experience of this ink has been interesting, apparently. On tests I've done, it has a very dark forest green base with blue sparkle. If you go over your swatch 3 times with a swab, it's blacker with a blue sparkle. Still, it's not exactly what it's said to be. What it is is great, though.

So far, I've only used this in a dip-pen, using a C-3 (med. wide) nib. This is amazing, very dense gold color and is likely to show well for ILLUMINATORS who lack the dosh for, you know, actual gold leaf. Skillfully applied, this can be stunning as accent, or calligraphy.
Be advised that this gotgeous ink has a lot of "gold-dust" in it, which you have to shake, then dip or fill. NOT SURE THAT ALL FOUNTAIN PENS WILL HANDLE THIS, so ask the experts if this ink is right for your FOUNTAIN PEN. Dip pens love it.
