I've had a lot of fun with the Shake N Shimmy ink. I'm not sure I'd use it in a fine or extra fine, but I write mostly with medium or broad. I have loaded this ink into several of my Lamy Safari's and have had no problems. Every time I write with his ink I get compliments about "writing in gold". The ink is not too wet, and not too dry. I've become a fan of Robert Oster inks since purchasing a couple of bottles for the first time this year.

I absolutely love the colors! Ink performs well but has to be well agitated (I use the “rolling a playdough log” method) before filling and during use. Metallic particles don’t stay suspended quite as well as Diamine Shimmertastics.

RO's S&S inks are one of my faves in the shimmer ink work. I prefer the ultra fine shimmer particles used, ease of shaking (some shimmer inks take a long time to get them mixed up) and a tad longer hang time so I get a good representation in the fill.

These are my absolute favorite inks. I don’t even know why, but they are so smooth and truly dynamic. I adore every Robert Oster ink I have.

I purchased sparkling cranberry - which is a beautiful red color. Not quite as rich as I expected but a pretty amount of shimmer and behaves nicely in my TWSBI fine nib.

Fun ink. My wife's favorite. A bit light in fine nibs. Would like it even more if I hadn't dumped half the bottle on my desk. :p
4 stars on the "functionality" only because one needs to be sure to keep the ink (as with an shimmer ink) well shaken/mixed or the pen could easily clog.

Beautiful ink! Get some before it’s all gone! You don’t have to shake all the luster from the bottom of the bottle. Just roll it between your palms or shake it side to side. I did test for drying time.
